After years of performing regionally, the Poplarville, Mississippi-based country trio Chapel Hart burst onto the national scene in 2022 when they appeared on America’s Got Talent. They made a name for themselves with their song “You Can Have Him Jolene” when it received a rare unanimous Golden Buzzer from the judges. Since then, sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and their cousin Trea Swindle have been independently touring, writing songs, and releasing albums. However, it looks like the trio’s days may be numbered.

According to the Hattiesburg American, Danica Hart took to Facebook yesterday (July 2) with a post hinting that she may soon leave Chapel Hart. In the now-deleted post, Hart said she feels as though she is being pushed out of the trio. She added that she and others close to her have been “subjected to physical violence and abuse.”
“Over the past several months, I have remained silent, but I can no longer stay quiet about what has happened,” she wrote. She went on to say that she was at her breaking point. She added that she has taken her concerns regarding “bad behavior and immorality going on that had no consequence or repercussions” to the trio’s management. It seems that she got no support from management or the other members of Chapel Hart. The latter are reportedly prepared to move on without her.
If she plans to leave Chapel Hart, it likely won’t be immediate. The trio has multiple shows on the books, and Hart seemingly plans to fulfill her obligations to their fans. “My intention was to fulfill the commitments and complete the agreed-upon dates, but given the circumstances, I no longer feel safe or supported to continue,” she wrote.
A New, Vague Post Could Reveal Danica Hart’s Future with Chapel Hart
Yesterday, Danica Hart made another post celebrating the support she received from Chapel Hart fans. However, she didn’t state what she plans to do next.
“[Y’all], I got what I needed,” she wrote in the post. “You’ll never really know what you mean to me. I want to give a special and heartfelt thank you for all your help,” she added. She followed the message with a series of emojis and the hashtags #movingforward, #prayerswelcomed, and #needrest.
Could the “moving forward” hashtag mean that she plans to move forward without her sister and cousin? Time will tell what the future holds for Chapel Hart.
