Those who have been following Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll for the last few years know that she usually drops at least one Christmas song every holiday season. Usually, they’re the kind of songs one wouldn’t want to play around their kids, grandparents, or in public. This year’s offering, “Come Here Cowboy” is no less steeped in innuendo than some of her previous releases but she seems to have dialed the spiciness of the track down some. As a result, one might almost get away with listening to this one in public.

“Come Here Cowboy” sees Bunnie XO revisiting some familiar Yuletide territory. It’s an invitation for a holiday roll in the hay.
Bunnie Xo’s Christmas Song Tradition
Bunnie Xo started her tradition of releasing Christmas in 2020 with “Shimmy Down My Chimney.” Since then, she’s released a new single in late November or early December every year. Some, like her latest addition to her holiday collection, are original songs packed with spicy innuendo. Others, like “Mista Grinch,” her 2021 collaboration with Savannah Dexter are spiced-up covers of holiday classics.
While she has only released Christmas songs to date, the collection shows her range as a recording artist. Many of the releases are sexy crooners. Then, there’s last year’s release, “12 Days of Rizzmas” which, while just as spicy as her other Yuletide bangers, is a holiday-themed rap song. “Come Her Cowboy,” on the other hand, sees Mrs. DeFord entering the realm of modern country music. The song features lyrics that hint at country themes like rodeos and calling her mate “cowboy” throughout the track. Also, the beat and instrumentation would allow the song to fit in with much of today’s mainstream country music.
In short, if you’re looking to add a little NSFW spice to your holiday playlist, look no further than Bunnie Xo’s collection of Christmas songs.
