In August 2024, Foreigner released a new archival song called โTurning Back the Time,โ which was built around a 1996 demo recording featuring original frontman Lou Grammโs vocals.
Now, Gramm has revealed to Billboard that Foreigner has plans to release more unheard archival tracks, including one titled โFool If You Love Him,โ for which he recorded some new vocals.

On March 15, the singer posted on his socials two photos of him in the studio with current Foreigner members Jeff Pilson and Luis Maldonado. The pics likely was taken during the aforementioned recording session.
Gramm suggested to Billboard that there are a lot of unreleased tunes that Foreigner could potentially resurrect.
โFor every Foreigner album we always recorded three or four songs more than we needed, and we usually chose 10 songs and rest were either done or almost done but were excellent,โ Lou noted. โThey fall by the wayside on times like this. There doesnโt seem to ever be a lack of material.โ
Meanwhile, Billboard also reported that founding Foreigner guitarist/songwriter Mick Jones has been working on finishing new tunes and archival material with veteran songwriter Marti Frederiksen.
Current Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen revealed to Billboard, โ[T]hereโs a bunch of stuff in several states of completion, itโs just a matter of having time.โ
Hansen, who will be sitting out Foreignerโs concerts outside of the U.S. this year because of โresidency issues,โ pointed out that, โMaybe for me, being not on the road as much, might afford some more time to finish some of those.โ
More About Foreignerโs Upcoming Plans
As previously reported, Gramm will rejoin Foreigner as a special guest for the groupโs 2025 spring tour of Latin America. With Hansen not taking part in that trek, Foreigner guitarist Luis Maldonado handle most of the lead vocal-duties.
The Latin American leg, which features eight concerts, runs from an April 28 show in Mexico City through a May 10 performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Hansen also wonโt be with Foreigner for the bandโs fall tour of Canada, which is plotted out from an October 21 show in St. Johnโs, Newfoundland and Labrador, through a November 7 concert in Kelowna, British Columbia. Canadian actor Geordie Brown, who starred in the original production of the Foreigner stage musical Juke Box Hero, will be the guest singer for the trek.
Brownโs participation in the Canadian tour will serve as a preview for a planned relaunch of the musical in 2026. Foreigner also will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026 with special tour and other various events. A documentary is in the works to commemorate the milestone.
