Last year, NBCUniversal announced plans to premiere a spin-off of the long-standing People’s Choice Awards dedicated to honoring country music’s most popular artists. Now, the People’s Choice Country Awards is heading into its second year with pop-country queen Shania Twain at the helm. On Thursday (Sept. 26), the “Come On Over” singer will host the award show from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville at 8 p.m. Eastern. Here’s how to make sure you don’t miss a moment.

How To Watch the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards
The ceremony will air live on NBC and streaming on Peacock at 7 p.m. Central Thursday, Sept. 26. The two-hour Live From E!: People’s Choice Country Awards red carpet show will kick off at 6 p.m. on E! The co-hosts will preview the ceremony’s can’t-miss moments and interview some of the night’s biggest names.
You can also stream the pre-show across E! Online, E! News and Access Hollywood YouTube channels, Facebook, Instagram, X.Twitter and TikTok.
Who Is Performing?
The 2024 People’s Choice County Awards ceremony promises a slew of memorable performances. Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, Parker McCollum and The War and Treaty are set to take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry.
On Sept. 24, NBC and Peacock announced that Brad Paisley and Machine Gun Kelly will also perform at Thursday’s ceremony.
Additionally, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Orville Peck, and comedian Nate Bargatze are set to present awards.
Who Are The Nominees?
Beyoncé leads the People’s Choice Country Awards pack with 12 nominations following her genre debut, March’s Cowboy Carter. The “Texas Hold ‘Em” hitmaker scored nods for the People’s Artist, Female Artist, and Album of 2024.
Zach Bryan follows closely with 11 nominations. His “I Remember Everything” collaborator, Kacey Musgraves, is just behind him with 10 nods.
Another country newcomer, Post Malone, also landed among this year’s nominees. The former rapper was recognized for the Morgan Wallen duet “I Had Some Help,” along with the Blake Shelton collab “Pour Me a Drink.”
Additionally, Kane Brown will also receive the Country Champion Award, while Miranda Lambert will receive the Country Icon Award.
