The One Song Jake E. Lee Wishes He Could Play For Ozzy Osbourne

While that might have been the song some fans wanted to hear, Lee knew another hit song “Bark At The Moon” could be a better decision. But at the same time, the guitarist, who worked with Ozzy for over a decade, admitted that with age comes restrictions. “I know people are expecting ‘Bark At The Moon’, but I don’t know. Right now, with my wrist, the arthritis and everything, that would be very challenging. I have a couple of months to get up to it, so I’ll practice it just in case that’s the one. But that’s going to be pretty challenging for me physically.”

Outside of Lee revealing the song he would play and the song he wished he could still play, he took a moment to honor Black Sabbath. With the band entertaining and inspiring countless artists in heavy metal over the years, Lee insisted, “Sabbath was one of my three favorite bands. It was just chemistry between the players that you can’t plan on or make happen. If any one of those guys aren’t in Sabbath, it’s just not as good.”

With thousands expected to attend and more purchasing streaming tickets, the Back to the Beginning charity concert will quickly become a highlight in the history of heavy metal.
