Always using his stardom to help others, Jelly Roll continues to find ways to give back and help enrich the lives of his fans. But at the same time, he learned that with fame also comes a great deal of criticism. After taking part in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Ozzy Osbourne, the singer watched Twitter users lashed out for his performances and support for Jack Black. While he announced was quitting Twitter for good, the country star recently returned to give back once again.ย
Showing just how far he had come since he started out, Jelly Roll traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas for a sold-out show in Simmons Bank Arena. Wanting to celebrate the milestone, he decided to offer free food. Releasing a video on his social media accounts, including Twitter, the singer said, โIn case you missed the memo, hereโs the short version. When I first started coming to Little Rock, Arkansas I played a place called Stickyz Chicken Shack. It had 200 people, I sold it out, I was so proud. Next time I came I played a place called the Rev Room, right here behind me. Right next to itโs a place called Gusโs Chicken, we ate Gusโs Chicken every time we played the Rev Room, I played that place 10 times.โ

Jelly Roll Considers Twitter To Be The Wild West
After giving some context as to why Little Rock held such a special place in his heart, Jelly Roll continued, โIf you come to Gusโs Chicken in Little Rock, Arkansas today the food is on me, baby, come get you a meal. This oneโs on me to honor our sold out show at Simmons Bank Arena. To all yโall artists playing Stickyz and playing the Rev Roomโฆ Keep playing baby, keep playing baby!โ
