Jelly Roll continues to be a man of the people. Recently, the country music phenom has planned a free concert for the LA wildfire first responders, per TMZ. The news came to light after several undisclosed sources sent out mass emails to numerous Southern California fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and the National Guard.

The concert tagged, “Jelly Roll and Friends,” will transpire on Saturday, February 1 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. To be clear, the concert is not a fundraiser nor is it open to general admission. Jelly Roll is putting on the show merely for the first responders who have been arduously helping Los Angeles. All first responders will get free admission into the concert.
According to the concert’s title, it seems Jelly Roll is alluding to the addition of a few more artists. However, that is merely a hunch, as no other logistical details have been announced regarding the event. Furthermore, Jelly Roll nor his team has publicly acknowledged or marketed the concert in any way, shape, or form.
Jelly Roll Joins The Cause
Since the LA wildfires started, celebrities have been organizing event after event to help the city of Los Angeles. Most notably, FireAid, a benefit concert for the victims of the fire will be held tonight, Thursday, January 30, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood and at the Intuit Dome simultaneously.
Those performing at the Intuit Dome include Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Gracie Abrams, Sting, Lady Gaga, and numerous others. Performing at the Kia Forum are John Mayer, Joni Mitchell, Green Day, Graham Nash, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and several more.
Given the large volume of acts, there will be no breaks between acts. FireAid starts at 6:00 PM PST and is streaming on Apple Music, Apple TV+, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, The Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube. For the sake of the fire’s victims and the first responders, let’s hope both concerts knock it out of the park.
