Having spent 25 years in the music industry, Lady Gaga seemed to carve out her own spot in genres like rock, jazz, and pop. Throughout the years, the singer proved herself to be a top name in the industry as she released hit songs like “Telephone”, “Shallow”, and “Poker Face.” With the singer still expanding her career, she already sold over 150 million albums. Her last studio album to hit shelves was nearly five years ago Chromatica. While lending her voice to films like A Star is Born and Joker: Folie à Deux, Lady Gaga recently crossed another milestone when she landed numerous No. 1 hits across three different decades.

Although Lady Gaga released her collaboration with Bruno Mars on “Die With A Smile” nearly five months ago, the hit song finally landed the No. 1 spot. Even with the holiday taking over the airwaves, the song remained on the charts as fans couldn’t get enough of Mars and Lady Gaga. Inspired by Carole King and James Taylor, the song found itself blocked by stars like Shaboozey with “Tipsy (A Bar Song).”
Looking back over her career, in the early 2000s, she took over the charts with songs like “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.” Moving to the 2010s, she once again found her way to the top with “Born This Way” and “Shallow”, which was her collaboration with Bradly Cooper. And in the 2020s, she hit No. 1 with “Rain On Me” and “Die With A Smile.”
Proving how incredibly hard it is to record No. 1 hits across numerous decades, the accomplishment has only been achieved by two other singers. And they were Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson.

Lady Gaga Celebrates Milestone
Thrilled to be in the company of such iconic performers, Lady Gaga took a moment to thank her fans for their continued support. Posting a picture of herself on Instagram, the singer captioned the post, “Thank you to all of the monsters and hooligans for helping make “Die With A Smile” #1 on the Billboard Hot 100! We love you and are so grateful. Having multiple songs of mine hit #1 across three decades feels surreal, and I am overwhelmed by the love and support you have shown me from the beginning. I have so much more in store for you and can’t wait to share it.”
Looking at the comments, fans congratulated the singer for her ongoing success. “You have been my pillar of strength and source of inspiration since the first moment I heard those vocals ! You are so deserving of everything great! It’s been beautiful to watch your journey and I am so excited you’re releasing your new album on my birthday month! Go GaGa go!”
