Being cut from The Voice has turned out pretty favorably for Morgan Wallen. In the decade since, the former landscaper has broken country music records left and right , all while selling out stadiums. The “Sand in My Boots” crooner, 31, is gearing up to release his fourth studio album, I’m the Problem, next month. And now the anticipation has reached a fever pitch after Wallen dropped a stripped-down version of his latest single.

Morgan Wallen Recorded This Cut in an Auto Shop
Two weeks after first teasing it on social media, Morgan Wallen released the ballad “Just In Case” as the newest single from his forthcoming album, I’m the Problem. He debuted the song live during his controversial Saturday Night Live appearance.
On Thursday (April 11), the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year surprised fans with “Just In Case (The Shop Sessions.)” In the caption, Wallen revealed that he had come across “a bada– old auto shop,” where he then decided to record several songs from his next project.
While it seemed impossible for Wallen to generate more excitement about the 37-track album, his latest post sparked a new wave of anticipation. “YESSS PLSSS,” one Instagram user wrote. Another added, “So good dude.”
“Just In Case” is the fifth single off I’m the Problem, out May 16. Previously, Wallen released “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile,” and the long-teased title track.
The Latest Album Contains A Career First
While Morgan Wallen has teamed up with everyone from Post Malone to Moneybagg Yo, his duet partners have shared one common trait: they’re all men. That’s about to change, as the “Whiskey Glasses” singer has verified that his next album will feature a duet with a female artist.

So far, Wallen is remaining tight-lipped about his duet partner,, leaving fans to feverishly speculate. Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, and Ella Langley are names that have repeatedly surfaced on social media. However, the “More Than My Hometown” hitmaker appeared to throw water over those theories with a social media post Thursday (April 10.)
“I haven’t seen one person guess the female collab on this album correctly yet,” Wallen wrote on his Instagram story.
