Morgan Wallen made a young fan’s day. During the country singer’s concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Wallen spotted a fan enjoying the show via FaceTime.

Wallen proceeded to run over towards the phone, waving and smiling to the kid. He then took it a step further by grabbing the phone from the fan who was there in person, before exchanging a few quick words with the virtual fan.
“What’s up buddy?” Wallen asked the child on the phone, before chatting back and forth with the tot for a few moments.
“@morganwallen FaceTiming my 10-year-old in the middle of his concert,” the young fan’s mom wrote alongside a TikTok video of the moment. “I am not OK.”
She captioned the video by writing, “Unreal experience. Thank you @morganwallen.”
In a follow up post, the pleased parent shared a screenshot of the FaceTime call in question. In the pic, the boy was noticeably stunned by the encounter, with a look of shock and excitement on his face.
Morgan Wallen’s Tour and Album
The sweet moment came amid Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour. He’s about halfway through his run of shows, and will next head to Cleveland, Ohio. After his shows there, Wallen will have his last tour stop in the U.S. in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Wallen will wrap up his tour in Canada, with stops in both Toronto and Edmonton.
Wallen’s tour is in support of his album of the same name. During an April appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Vaughn, Wallen discussed his want to try something new with I’m the Problem.
“A lot of the things that were successful in the past were like whiskey drinking, all that stuff, and I’ve almost explored every angle of that that’s possible. Last album, I had plenty of trap beats and stuff like that,” he said. “This time, I was like, ‘Hey man, maybe let’s tone that down a little bit.”
Wallen went on to note of his fans, “if I’m tired of it, they’re probably tired of it.”
“You can still get that swagger, you can accomplish certain things without that same thing,” he said. “A lot of my guys that I write with… we had a good sense of what we were shooting for. I had to work harder. Just finding new angles and thinking up new ideas.”
