Ozzy Osbourne, the great heavy metal icon and vocalist of Black Sabbath, passed away on July 22. His passing came mere weeks after his final performance with the legendary band in England. In the days since his death, the world has publicly mourned this profound loss, including members of Osbourneโs family. He left behind six children and his wife of 43 years, Sharon. Kelly Osbourne, Ozzyโs youngest daughter, recently posted a heartwarming tribute to her late father on Instagram on Friday, August 1. And, naturally, that tribute had an expletive that Ozzy himself often used.
In the now-expired Instagram story posted to Kelly Osbourneโs page, the British TV personality posted a gorgeous photo of purple flowers arranged in such a way to spell out the words โOzzy F*cking Osbourne.โ The arrangement was set beside a beautiful pond, surrounded by a landscape of trees and hills that one would expect to be in England.

In a follow-up Instagram story, also expired, Osbourne shared a clip from the MTV reality show The Osbournes, which she starred in with Ozzy and other members of her family from 2002 to 2005. In the clip from the show, Ozzy can be seen in bed with his wife, Sharon, Kellyโs mother, offering advice that Iโm sure everyone close to him needs to take in the wake of this devastating loss.
โListen, all youโve got to worry about is getting through today,โ Ozzy can be heard saying in the clip. โThatโs all you got to worry about.โ
Kelly Osbourneโs Tribute to Her Father Ozzy Would Have Warmed His Heart
Several days before these sweet posts in dedication to her father, Kelly and her family attended Ozzyโs funeral in Birmingham, England, his hometown. Fans absolutely flooded the streets to pay their respects to one of the greatest legends in rock music. Sharon, Kelly, and her siblings laid flowers at the famous Black Sabbath Bridge on the way there.
Shortly after Ozzyโs death, Kelly Osbourne posted a tribute to her father on July 24, noting that she โlost the best friend [she] ever had,โ likely referencing the song โChangesโ by Black Sabbath. She and her father released the song as a duet in 2003.
Since her fatherโs passing, fans have been flooding Osbourneโs Instagram posts with sympathetic words.
โIโm devastated to hear about your dad,โ said one fan. โMy heart goes out to you and your family.โ
โMy heart is so sad for you and your family,โ said another. โ[Your] dad was a huge part of my life through his music and story.โ
We wish Kelly, her family, and Ozzyโs fans nothing but the best during this difficult time.
