Noah Kahan Claims He Can’t Possibly Have More ‘Stick Season’ Era Music…Or Can He?

Noah Kahan has taken to social media to tease fans with the possible release of new songs recorded during his Stick Season era. He announced the releases with self-deprecating sarcasm in a TikTok video, where he claimed he’d “milked this thing as far as it can go” in reference to the album.

“There’s no way I would release something else Stick Season related…is there?” he cheekily told fans. “There’s no chance…I’ve milked this thing as far as it can go…There’s no way I have more up my sleeve…There’s no way there’s something else coming … Nuh-uh, no shot. No chance.”

He gave himself away, though, with a trademark giggle. While it’s not entirely clear what Noah Kahan will be releasing (or when), there’s a chance he’ll be dropping some unreleased songs. Fans have been paying attention to his social media, noting that he reposted two videos of fans reacting to the unreleased song “I Belong to You.” They have also gathered in the comments of his teaser, suggesting humorous titles for the next release like Stick Season: Forever: No Really, Genuinely Forever or You’re Gonna Go Far (Even Further Than You Originally Thought).

Noah Kahan Could Be Releasing More Music Recorded During Stick Season

It’s interesting to note that Kahan was also seen hanging out with Chappell Roan recently at Hinterland Festival. He revealed that he’s a Chappell fan as well, giving his all during her performance of “HOT TO GO!” and doing the iconic dance behind the sound stage.

Since Noah Kahan was all about collaborations during the deluxe edition of Stick Season, could he be planning something with Chappell Roan next? Notably, he worked with Kacey Musgraves on “She Calls Me Back” and Hozier on “Northern Attitude,” which have become fan favorites. A song with Chappell might just break the internet, given her monumental popularity.

Kahan would be following in the footsteps of Hozier, who released three new songs on August 16 recorded during Unreal Unearth. He added those songs, titled Unaired, to the other four, titled Unheard, and combined them with the base album, creating a slightly unorthodox deluxe edition of the 2023 record exactly a year later.
