Snoop Dogg Mourns the Heartbreaking Loss of His Dog, Gifted to Him by Wiz Khalifa

While known as one of the top rappers to come out of the West Coast hip-hop scene, Snoop Dogg expanded his fame into Hollywood, television, and even the Olympics. But outside of his fame, he was also a lover of animals, especially his French bulldog Juelz. First bringing Juelz home back in 2014, the two have been almost inseparable over the last decade. But sadly, on June 11th, the rapper shared the sad news that his best friend Juelz had passed away.

Always a sad day when a person has to say goodbye to their pet, Snoop Dogg shared the news by posting a video of Juelz riding comfortably in the car. Simply enjoying the AC and ride, the artist wrote, “RIP Juelz.” But that wasn’t all as the rapper thanked Wiz Khalifa for gifting the French bulldog to him.

Although most receive a puppy for Christmas, Khalifa thought the little dog would make the perfect gift for Snoop Dogg’s birthday. At the time, the rapper was celebrating his 43rd birthday. Now 53 years old, Snoop Dogg enjoyed almost a decade with his friend.

Snoop Dogg Shares Highlights Of His French Bulldog Juelz

With Snoop Dogg having such a love for Juelz, he posted a collage of pictures on Instagram. As the song “See You Again” played in the background, the pictures showed the puppy enjoying himself with singers, celebrities, and even Darth Vader. Appearing to enjoy his life alongside Snoop Dogg over the years, Juelz’s fame led him to have his own Instagram page.

Fans shared their support for Snoop Dogg, writing, “I have 3 frenchies and I dread the day god wants them home I’m so sorry for your loss.” Another person added, “I’m so so sorry for your loss. Losing our fur kids is losing a family member.”

As for Juelz’s Instagram page, the famous dog boasted an impressive 51,000 followers. And it seemed harder to get the dog to follow a person. Looking at the numbers, he only followed 28 people. Even Snoop Dogg couldn’t stay close to that number as he followed 7,453 people. But again, he also held over 88 million followers. But no matter the number, one thing was certain – Juelz was No. 1.
