Stephen Stills and his wife, Kristen, will host the seventh edition of the star-studded Light Up the Blues concert to benefit the Autism Speaks organization. The show will take place April 26 at the famed Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Among the performers joining Stephen on the show’s lineup are Neil Young and his current band, The Chrome Hearts, as well as Billy Idol, Cat Power, Linda Perry, and actress Christina Applegate.
Young and Stills, of course, have a lengthy shared musical history, having played together in the Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and the Stills-Young Band. Young also has performed at multiple previous Light Up the Blues concerts, including the last one, held in 2023.
Also performing this year will be Stills’ sons Chris and Oliver, plus a variety of as-yet-unannounced special guests. In addition, the show will feature performances by a number of autistic musical artists. This year’s concert will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Autism Speaks, which is the largest autism research organization in the U.S. The organization also helps provide resources and services to autistic people and their families.
Tickets for the 2025 Light Up the Blues concert go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 28, at 10 a.m. PT. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Thursday, February 27, starting at 10 a.m. PT.
The inaugural Light Up the Blues concert was held in 2013, Stephen and Kristen Stills have hosted all of the shows.

“We are once again feeling grateful that we can play a part in helping Autism Speaks to fulfill their mission of creating such meaningful progress for autistic people and their families,” the couple said. “There are a multitude of existing challenges and now, here in Los Angeles, we face a new reality of added need for our autism community.”

The Light Up the Blues concert is held during World Autism Month. The event reinforces the Autism Speaks organization’s commitment to support the autistic community and encourage people celebrate and encourage those with autism or on the spectrum.
This year, Autism Speaks also is lending support to communities affected by the Los Angeles-area wildfires by offering assistance to frontline response efforts.
