Over the July 4th weekend, as millions around the United States celebrated Independence Day, deadly flooding ripped through Texas. While happening in the early hours of the morning, many had little or no time to react to the rising water around the Guadalupe River. As rescue efforts are still ongoing, the death toll has hit 136 people. Since the news broke, country singers like George Strait, Miranda Lambert, and several others prepared concerts to help raise funds for the victims. And now, adding his name to the list, Koe Wetzel will donate proceeds from his upcoming concert.ย
On August 4th, Wetzel will take the stage at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. Looking to help those impacted by the flood, the concert featured more than Wetzel. Other artists included Pecos Hurley of Pecos & The Rooftops, Mike Ryan, Shane Smith of Shane Smith & The Saints, Dylan Wheeler, Kolby Cooper, Casey Donahew, Ray Wylie and Lucas Hubbard.
