Although a part of country music history, Nashville continues to expand with new bars, restaurants, and music venues. Most recently, the city celebrated the opening of The Pinnacle. The music venue opened in March and offered musicians and singers a hall that could fit over four thousand fans. Wanting to honor the new venue with a special performance, the Turnpike Troubadours took the stage for another sold-out show. And to make the night even better, the band shared the stage with Ketch Secor and Molly Tuttle to perform the hit song “Wagon Wheel.”

The Turnpike Troubadours Welcome The Pinnacle To Nashville
The history surrounding the song “Wagon Wheel” spanned over two decades as Bob Dylan first recorded the chorus during the early 1970s. It wouldn’t be until nearly 30 years later that Secor came in and wrote the lyrics. Finishing the song, “Wagon Wheel” became an instant classic with stars like Nathan Carter, Nathan Evans, and Darius Rucker offering their own version.
As for the Pinnacle, the venue shared numerous posts surrounding the concert, with one video showing just how entertaining a concert with the Turnpike Troubadours can be. Fans loved the video, writing, “Amazing show. I loved every second of it.” Another person added, “Thanks for an impeccable concert and for enjoying what you all do.”
While the band remains focused on traveling the country and entertaining fans, the Turnpike Troubadours released their latest albums, A Car in the Rain, back in August 2023. Although nearly two years ago, the album produced hit singles like “Brought Me” and “Chipping Mill.” With the band offering powerful performances and a classic discography, they seemed like the perfect group to welcome The Pinnacle to Nashville.
