Barack Obama A Little Nervous Following Eminem

Although Obama lived in the White House, he found himself a little nervous when it came to taking the stage after Eminem. When stepping up to the microphone, he revealed to the crowd, “I gotta say, I’ve done a lot of rallies. So, I don’t usually get nervous, but I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem.” The former President used the moment to throw in some famous lyrics of the rapper, explaining his  “Palms were sweaty, knees weak/ Arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater already/ Mom’s spaghetti/ I’m nervous but on the surface, I’m calm already.

While not on the same level as Eminem, the crowd didn’t seem to care as they watched the former President rap the song. With the arena erupting in cheer, Obama said, “I thought Eminem was going to be performing and I was going to jump out.”
