Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Kelley, has faced serious legal and substance abuse issues in recent years. As a result, the country star is raising her toddler granddaughter Kaliyah. After spending most of her life on the road or in the studio, Judd is adding being a modern parent into her vast skillset.

Wynonna Judd Opens Up About Raising Her Granddaughter
Wynonna Judd gave a rare insight into her private life while talking to Jenna Bush Hager about the TV show Severance and her distaste for modern technology.
“I don’t have a computer and I don’t watch TV unless it’s planned because I’m raiding my two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter. So, I listen to her,” Judd explained. While the “No One Else on Earth” singer doesn’t watch much television, her granddaughter does enjoy children’s programming. More specifically, she’s one of countless tots who enjoy the popular YouTuber Ms. Rachel.
“I’m about to lose my mind,” Judd joked before admitting that she likes the popular children’s content creator. “I can’t talk like that. I wish I could be that animated but I don’t know how,” she added. “She’s in another realm.”
Judd went on to say that she and Kaliyah watch several children’s shows together. “I love Peppa,” she said, referencing the popular animated series Peppa Pig. “We watch all those shows. So, I know all about that but I don’t know about Severance. So, that tells you where I’m at at 60,” she added jokingly.
“My life on the farm is simple and sweet which is what we need more of, I think,” Judd said about her day-to-day life. “We don’t do phones at dinner,” she added. “I do what I have to do to just live off the road. I was on the road at 17 so I never got to learn how to do life outside of show business. So, now I’m learning.”
At the moment, Judd’s ambitions aren’t lofty. They are, however, important. “Food, family, and fun is my goal.”
