1. He Recently Released a Self-Titled EP

Some artists take the stage for the first time ever during their Blind Audition for The Voice. Not so Ethan Eckenroad, who dropped his debut self-titled EP on Jan. 31.

” i feel like this is long overdue, but i can’t even begin to tell you how excited i am about this project!” the Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania-based artist wrote in a Jan. 8 social media post.

2. He’s A Proud Dad

Auditioning for The Voice isn’t the only major milestone for Ethan Eckenroad in the past couple of years. The folk singer welcomed a daughter, Josephine Grace, with wife Savannah on Jan. 22, 2024.

“we don’t want to share too much with the world wide web, but fam!! i can’t even begin to tell you how blessed and honored i am to call this little peanut my daughter!” the proud girl dad wrote on social media last February.

3. Adam Levine Wants Him, Bad

Ahead of Monday’s (Feb. 3) premiere, The Voice shared a preview of Ethan Eckenroad’s Blind Audition online. And let’s just say host Carson Daly has already hailed his rendition of Noah Kahan’s “Northern Attitude” as “perfection.”

“Ethan, oh my God. I have been waiting for you, my friend,” coach Adam Levine said.

The Maroon 5 frontman continued, “You have my favorite voice I’ve heard so far this entire Blind Audition. It would be a tragedy if you weren’t on my team.”

Tune into NBC at 8 p.m. Eastern to see if Levine’s “emotional blackmail” worked.
