After seven seasons and over 1,140 episodes, The Kelly Clarkson Show is coming to an end. Wanting to take her career in a different direction, with more focus on family, Kelly Clarkson shared the news with fans. Although loving her time on the show and getting the chance to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in music and Hollywood, the singer was ready for a new chapter. But with fans not ready to let the show go, rumors suggested P!nk might take over for the host, causing the singer to set the record straight.

The rumors of P!nk taking over for Clarkson first started when she filled in as a guest host on Monday. It was easy for P!nk to take over for the day since she also lives in New York. Moving from California, she admitted, “We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom. And also so Willow could study theatre and experience more Broadway.”

With P!nk a natural when it comes to hosting, fans wondered if she would take over. Sharing her thoughts in a now-deleted Instagram video, the singer insisted, “I’m not taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show. I’m doing a fun thing for my buddy Kelly, because it’s a fun thing…”

Finding the idea of her helming The Kelly Clarkson Show hilarious, P!nk promised that if she wanted a show – she would have one. “If I wanted a talk show, I would not have to audition. I would just have one, and it would be amazing, not something I’m currently researching or looking for in my busy, busy, busy world.”

P!nk Deals With More Than Kelly Clarkson’s Rumors

Over the years, P!nk has become an expert at dealing with rumors or speculation. Not that long ago, she had to deny rumors that she and her husband had split after being married for two decades. “So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know! Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children?”

Not wanting to feed into the rumors and online gossip, P!nk concluded, “Fake news. Not true. I love you all. Go with god.”

Still, even with P!nk shutting down the speculation, fans couldn’t help but imagine what a talk show led by the outspoken hitmaker might look like. Known for her sharp wit and honesty, a P!nk-hosted series would likely be equal parts heartfelt, hilarious, and unapologetically real.

But for now, P!nk remains focused on music, motherhood, and reminding her husband they are still married.
