Drawing influence from stars like Kid Cudi and Kanye West, Travis Scott sought to leave his legacy in the work of hip-hop. And with the rapper producing albums like Rodeo and Utopia, he not only gained a sizable following but worked with brands like Nike, McDonald’s, and even Dior. Recently, Scott was performing on stage when he shocked fans by bringing actor Owen Wilson to the stage to perform the hit song “FE!N.”

Making it rounds of social media, fans recorded Wilson walking out on stage to embrace Scott as they performed the 2023 hit “FE!N.” In the video, the two appeared to command the stage as Wilson soaked in the massive crowd. Although somewhat of a surprise to some, others pointed to Wilson’s recent work and how the moment might be part of an upcoming film.

Besides the video, Wilson recently signed on to work with comedian Matt Rife on a father-son comedy. According to the synopsis, the film, titled Rolling Loud, surrounded a father, who happened to be overprotective, sneaking his 13-year-old son into one of the world’s largest hip-hop festivals. The duo must overcome security, rowdy crowns, and even some family drama as they make their way through the event.
Travis Scott Recalls Astroworld Festival
Although just speculation, any story focused on the world’s largest hip-hop festival is sure to include Scott. Outside of his ongoing career, the rapper dealt with a few scandals over the years. Back in 2021, Scott performed at the Astroworld Festival, where ten people died and hundreds more were injured.
Never forgetting that performance, Scott once discussed the aftermath with GQ. He said, “I mean I was just overly devastated, you know. Yeah. I always think about it. Those fans were like my family.”
While channeling those feelings and emotions into his new album Utopia, which released in July, Scott said, “Making music, you think about things that go on in life and things that happen in your life, and you dial in on things. That moment for families, for the city, you know, it was devastating. And when it came to making, like even finishing the album…I got back into it probably like, I don’t know, months and months and months after. And the idea of just even getting back into music, working on music and just even getting into that, was therapeutic of being able to channel some of the energy into production and sounds and finishing it.”
