The scenes of destruction and loss currently playing out in the news are all too familiar for Miley Cyrus. Back in 2018, the pop star’s Malibu home burned to the ground in the Woolsey fire as she filmed Black Mirror in South Africa. Cyrus nodded at the tragedy in her Grammy-winning song, “Flowers:” Built a home and watched it burn. “My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now,” she wrote. “My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong.”
