Tommy Lee has always been brashly candid and never let anyone silence his opinions. This trend continues, as Lee recently took to Instagram to share his views on the musicians who are still promoting their music amidst the tragic LA wildfires.

Lee did not target any specific musician or band, however, his comments directly pertain to the parties who are seemingly forgetting about the natural disaster transpiring in Southern California. Per Lee’s comments, he detests any and every musician who continues to promote themselves and their music during these trying times.
Tommy Lee and His Candid Criticism
With his post, Tommy Lee had no other intention other than to criticize those who seemingly remain complacent during the fires. He started his post by writing, “Makes me f— sick to see most people just [carrying] on … posting on lame ass social media!” “Guys right now nobody gives a flying f— when your record drops or the next concert is when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time,” added Lee.
The drummer continued with, “I get that some comic relief is always [needed] but Jesus Christ leave it all alone.” “Maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can,” Lee concluded. Lee’s comments are certainly applicable to a handful of musicians who continue to live as if nothing is happening. However, there are more than a handful of musicians and other notable figures doing their part as the fire continues.
Celebrities who don’t fall under Tommy Lee’s criticism seemingly include, Beyoncé, The Weekend, Jamie Lee Curtis, Metallica, Paris Hilton, and a plethora of others. Again, it’s unclear as to who Tommy Lee directly addresses with this post. Though, according to Lee, there are certainly some.
The Current State of Los Angeles
As of today, January, 14, the fire is the largest and most destructive fire to transpire in California. According to the New York Times, there are 100, 000 displaced individuals and 25 deceased.
