After being eligible for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for more than 25 years, British supergroup Bad Company finally was nominated for the honor for the first time in 2025. Now, lauded Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers has sent out a special video message offering “special thanks” to the faithful fans who are backing the band in its bid to get inducted.

More About Voting for the Rock Hall Nominees

As is done every year, the Rock Hall is hosting an online poll offering fans the chance to vote for their favorite artist nominated for induction. Voting is open through April 21 at vote.rockhall.com. Once voting is closed, the five artists with the most votes will make up a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots submitted to determine the 2025 inductees.

As previously reported, Bad Company is among 14 artists nominated for this year in the Performer category. The other Rock Hall nominees are Soundgarden, Mariah Carey, Billy Idol, Cyndi Lauper, The Black Crowes, Joe Cocker, Joy Division/New Order, Outkast, Oasis, Phish, The White Stripes, Chubby Checker, and Maná.

This year’s ceremony will be held in Los Angles in the fall.

Journey’s Neal Schon Weighed In on Bad Company’s Rock Hall Nod

Journey guitarist Neal Schon took to the comments section of Bad Company’s Instagram post to voice his own support for the band.

“Vote friends,” Schon wrote. “I’ve been saying for years that it’s a sin for Paul not to be in [the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame] with all his works.” Neal then mentions Free, Bad Company, and Rodgers’ solo work.

Star-Studded Bad Company Tribute Album Due This Fall

In other Bad Company news, it was recently reported that a star-studded tribute album called Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute to Bad Company will be released in the fall. The recording will be featured on a limited-edition seven-inch white-vinyl disc that will be released as part of the 2025 Record Store Day event on April 12.
