Luke Combs Teases What He Says “Could Wind Up Being the Best Record I’ve Ever Made”

In 2024, Luke Combs had quite the year, as he released his studio album, Fathers & Sons, and embarked on the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour. Furthermore, he also received a CMA nomination for Entertainer of the Year. That being so, Luke Combs’ 2025 is already off to a hot start, and as of now, it will seemingly mimic his decorated 2024.

Already in 2025, Luke Combs has been extensively touring in both New Zealand and Australia. During his time down under, Combs has put fans into a frenzy, and he’s done so by teasing three unreleased songs. The unreleased songs in question include “Wish Upon a Whiskey,” “Pushin’ Up Daisies,” and another song reportedly titled “Ain’t No Cowboy.”

Thanks to Combs’ consistent teasers, country music fans have been urging the artist to release studio cuts of the tracks. However, the man won’t budge. Rather, he’s just going to make you wait a little longer, and he recently built up the anticipation with an excitingly cryptic X post.

Luke Combs Is Confident in His Abilities

In a completely unexpected post, Luke Combs took the time to acknowledge that he does in fact have an album in the works. Yesterday, March 25, Combs wrote in his post, “I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks working on what my next record looks like and as it begins to take shape I can honestly say I’ve never felt better about one at this stage. “It’s early on but I really do think it could wind up being the best record I’ve ever made,” added Combs.

Well, if you’re a Luke Combs fan, you should be over-the-moon happy. Per his comments, there are absolutely no details known about the album. Frankly, the three songs he teased might not even be on there. Regardless, when Luke Combs says something is going to be good, it’s probably going to be good. As of now, all anyone can do for the time being is wait. Surely, the release will come before you know it.
