Several upcoming Jonas Brothers shows are going be smaller than planned. Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas recently took to their Jonas Brothers social media pages to announce that they’d decided to move six of their upcoming concerts out of a stadium in favor of smaller venue.

“We’re so excited to get out and be with you for our 20th anniversary tour!” the statement read. “Every decision we make is with you in mind, ensuring the best experience for our incredible fans. We’re making some venue changes, but rest assured, all performances are still happening on the same dates and in the same cities.”
The brothers wrote that they’re “pouring our hearts into making this the best tour we’ve ever done.”
“We love performing for you and sharing this journey together,” they added.
Jonas Brothers Announce Changes in Venue Ahead of Upcoming Tour
Fans that were scheduled to see the brothers on Aug. 12 in Washington, D.C., Aug. 14 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Aug. 26 in Chicago, Illinois, Aug. 28 in Detroit, Michigan, Aug. 31 in Dallas, Texas, and on Sept. 6 in Los Angeles, California, will all experience venue changes.
The original stadiums where the concerts were set to be held have capacities between 40,000 and 56,000. Meanwhile, the new venues hold 18,000 and 28,000 people.
Fans who purchased tickets to the affected shows will have to buy tickets again to see the band live. However, those who’d previously committed to the show will get priority presale access to tickets via their Ticketmaster account. All ticket holders will be refunded for their original tickets.
“We apologize for any inconvenience these changes have caused and we can’t wait to see you on the road!” the band wrote. “Thank you dearly for your patience and support.”
The news of changes to the band’s Jonas20: Living the Dream Tour comes ahead of the first show.
The brothers are set to hit the road on Aug. 10, playing the first concert of the tour at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. The shows will wrap months later when Jonas Brothers take the stage in Connecticut on Nov. 14.
Their album, Greetings from Your Hometown, is due out Aug. 8.
