Trisha Yearwood Starts a “New Adventure” with The Mirror
The Mirror isn’t just a new Trisha Yearwood album. The 15-track collection will allow fans to get a deeper look into Yearwood’s heart and mind because she co-wrote all of the songs. Press materials state that the album’s songs deal with themes of resilience, feminine strength, identity, and forgiveness.
“When I was 19 years old, someone told me I wasn’t a songwriter, and I let that be the truth for a very long time,” she shared in a statement. At some point in the past few years, something shifted, and I started writing and then just never stopped,” she added. “You’d think that after all this time I’d have nothing new to share, but now I feel like I’m on a whole new adventure.”
