If you’re looking for the ingredients to a successful country music career, look no further than Miranda Lambert. Through a combination of powerful vocals, raw storytelling, and plain old East Texas grit, the “Wranglers” singer is still very much in the game two decades after her 2005 breakout album Kerosene. In the past two years alone, she has toured with Morgan Wallen, collaborated with Chris Stapleton, and reunited with producer Jon Randall to launch their own Big Loud imprint, Big Loud Texas. And the nine-time Female Vocalist of the Year is showing no signs of stopping.

Miranda Lambert Is “Trusting the Process”
In a recent interview with Country Now, Miranda Lambert offered no specific details about the follow-up to her 10th studio album, last year’s Postcards From Texas. However, she did hint that we may hear it sooner rather than later.
“I’m pretty much always creating; it just looks different depending on where I am in the process,” she said. “Sometimes, I’m just living my life, so that I have something to write about when I come back to the music.”
If that sounds like she hasn’t put pen to paper, think again. “I’ve been writing with some friends in Nashville, too,” revealed the three-time Grammy winner, 41. “I always let the music guide where I’m going next, and trust the process.”

Postcards From Texas marked a homecoming of sorts, in more ways than one. It was Lambert’s first album since her departure from Sony Nashville in March 2023, after 19 years. It was also entirely recorded in her home state, where she is planning to lay down new roots with Big Loud Texas. After 20 years in the music industry, Lambert knows a thing or two about staying power.
“Since I have been through this experience myself, I know all the different stages of building a career, which puts me in a good position to be helpful to our Big Loud Texas artists on their own path,” she said. “I have always let music lead, and I know that it’s also important to be commercially successful if you want to be around for a long time, so I hope I can help them balance that.”
