While helming her massively successful Eras Tour, Taylor Swift also worked on her discography as she continued to release Taylor’s version albums. Not rushing the releases, Swift worked with stars like Chris Stapleton, Keith Urban, Hayley Williams on even Fall Out Boy. With the artists featured on the Vault tracks, some Swifties wondered if Swift was working with Dolly Parton when the country icon started to follow her on Instagram. While no details released surrounding the rumors, the idea of a Swift/Dolly collaboration sounded too good to be true.

Although Swift continues to expand her stardom in the music industry, Dolly showcased the power of her voice over the last few decades. While Dolly continued to release new albums, the country singer also created The Dollywood Company. Featuring a theme park, water park, and even several dinner theaters, the singer proved her talents went far beyond the stage. And with both singers icons in the music industry, they sent a great deal of praise to each other.
Speaking with Variety, Dolly shared her love for Swift, explaining, “I just admire her very much and how she’s handled her business, her personal life, and what all she has meant to so many young people. [She’s] been a great inspiration. And Lord knows we need some uplifting people and things this day and time.”
Fans Continue To Wonder If Dolly Parton And Taylor Swift Are Collaborating
Just last year, Swift gushed over Dolly when discussing the country singer with The Hollywood Reporter. Calling her a legendary storyteller, Swift added, “Her sense of humor and mischief are easily my favorite things about her, because I think it forces the world to reconcile that a woman can be a serious artist and writer who also has raucous fun with it, can make people laugh and be in on every joke.”
