Thanks to acts such as Shaboozey, Morgan Wallen, Beyoncé, and Post Malone, Country music and rap have created a lucrative and musically beneficial relationship. Well, that relationship continues to be perpetuated as Ella Langley and Texas rapper, BigXthaPlug, recently teased their new crossover collaboration, “Hell At Night”.

To tease their forthcoming single, both parties took to TikTok and posted a small clip of each other’s segments. In Big X’s post, the rapper featured some of Langley’s vocals and simply wrote, “@Ella Langley you ready to give em hell?” Since Big X dropped the post three days ago, it has received 66.6 thousand likes.
More recently, as in today, Ella Langley also teased the new song on TikTok. Like Big X, Langley posted a clip teasing one of Big X’s verses. However, she didn’t write any commentary on the post other than, “@BigXthaPlug #hellatnight.”
While this might seem like an odd collaboration, it really isn’t. In the recent past, BigXthaPlug has collaborated with pop country artists Shaboozey and Bailey Zimmerman. Concerning his two collaborations with Shaboozey, the two artists dropped “Drink Don’t Need No Mix” in 2024 and “Home” just earlier this year. Furthermore, Big X released “All The Way” featuring Zimmerman not too long ago as well.

Fans Are Heavily Anticipating Ella Langley and Bigxthaplug’s “Hell at Night”
Collaborations such as this one are becoming less of a rarity in country music. Nevertheless, fans across genres are still seemingly excited for them, especially this one. On BigXthaPlug’s post, one viewer commented, “This is Taylor Swift and t pain all over again I love it.” Also, Ella Langley commented by simply writing, “C’mon🔥.”
Similar reactions were littered through Langley’s post as well, as TikTok users wrote, “Ella Langley the next country artist of the year!!!” and “Elllllllllllla please tell us when it’s being released, I have this on replay.”
Per the comments, it seems like this collaboration is the biggest one coming out of Nashville in the foreseeable future. Though, other than the snippets shared on their accounts, nothing else about the single has been announced. So, you’ll just have to wait for further details.
