A listening party hosted by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music will take place on Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m. ET at Lauren K. Woods Theatre at Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey.
The event, which is expected to last about two hours, is free and open to the public. Those wishing to attend the gathering are required to register in advance at Eventbrite.com.
New Jersey-based radio personalities Tom Cunningham and Rich Russo will curate and moderate the listening session.
Fans hoping for a surprise appearance from Springsteen at the playback event likely will be disappointed, as Bruce is still on tour in Europe with the E Street Band. The listening obviously won’t feature the entire box set, which is made up of seven full albums.
One person who registers for the Tracks II preview will win a pair of tickets to a special “Evening with Thom Zimny” event, which will be held on September 5 at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre. Zimny is a filmmaker who has worked on various Springsteen-related documentaries over the last two or three decades. Most recently, he directed the Inside Tracks II: The Lost Albums doc that premiered June 20 on Springsteen’s YouTube channel.
More details about the “Evening with Thom Zimny” event will be announced soon.
More About the ‘Tracks II: The Lost Albums’ Box Set
As previously reported, Tracks II: The Lost Albums features seven full previously unheard archival albums spanning from 1983 through 2018.
Tracks II, which can be pre-ordered now, will be available as a nine-LP or seven-CD package, and via digital formats. The set features 83 songs in all, 74 of which have never been heard before.
The seven albums are titled LA Garage Sessions ’83, Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, Faithless, Somewhere North of Nashville, Inyo, Twilight Hours, and Perfect World.
Physical versions of the box set will include a 100-page cloth-bound, hardcover book featuring archival photos, liner notes by essayist Erik Flannigan, and an introduction penned by Springsteen.
A companion album to Tracks II, titled Lost and Found: Selections from The Lost Albums, will also be released June 27. The 20-song collection will be available on CD and as a two-LP set.
Springsteen’s Upcoming Tour Plans
Springsteen and the E Street Band launched a 2025 European tour on May 14 in Manchester, U.K. The 16-date trek is mapped out through a July 3 concert in Milan, Italy.
Bruce and his group’s next concert takes place this Tuesday, June 24, in San Sebastian, Spain.
