More About KISS’ Unmasked Concert

KISS’ last full performance took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 2, 2023, the finale of the band’s End of the Road farewell tour.

While KISS vowed never to play another tour date after the completion of the End of the Road trek, Simmons insisted that the band isn’t going back on its promise, because the Las Vegas show will be unlike one of the group’s over-the-top, large-venue concerts.

“We will not do the makeup. We will hold true to the promise,” Simmons told The Las Vegas Review-Journal in a recent interview. “There’s no stage show. There’s no crew. We won’t have 60 people levitating drum sets and all that stuff. This is more personal gathering of the tribes, where we meet them, greet them, maybe have a Q&A.”

About Simmons’ Upcoming Solo Tour Plans

Simmons initially announced an expansive 2025 tour with his solo band, but the majority of those shows recently were either postponed or canceled. The Gene Simmons Band currently has 10 confirmed concerts left on its 2025 itinerary.

The group will play a nine-date spring outing running a May 2 concert in Peachtree City, Georgia, through a May 15 show in Niagara Falls, Canada. The band also will perform at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip festival in Sturgis, South Dakota, on August 3.
