How to Watch the Brit Awards If You Don’t Have Cable

The Brit Awards will broadcast live on ITV1 at 3:15 p.m. Eastern, with a livestream on ITVX. Additionally, the ceremony will be available on the Brits YouTube, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Those in the U.S. without cable will likely need a virtual private network (VPN) to stream the ceremony online.

Who Is Performing at the Brit Awards?

As the Brit Awards cheekily announced on its official X/Twitter account, Sabrina Carpenter is opening the show. Although not confirmed, the Grammy winner, 25, will likely perform her buzzy 2024 summer hit, “Espresso,” which is nominated for international song of the year.

Carpenter’s awards show performances are always a treat. Most recently, she dazzled viewers with a sparkly, over-the-top medley of her hits “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”

Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, Jade Thirlwall, Lola Young, and The Last Dinner Party are also among today’s performers.

Charli XCX Leads Nominations; The Cure and the Beatles Also Up For Awards

Coming off a zeitgeist-defining moment with last summer’s Brat, Charli XCX leads the pack with five nods at this year’s Brit Awards, including one for album of the year. The “Guess” singer, 32, has already picked up the songwriter of the year award ahead of today’s ceremony.

Additionally, the Beatles could win Song of the Year for the career-capping “Now And Then.” Written and sung by John Lennon in the late 1970s, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr finished the song in 2023, adding overdubs and guitar tracks from George Harrison.

Another iconic British band, The Cure, also found themselves among the nominees for the first time in awhile. The post-punk legends scored an Album of the Year nod for Songs of a Lost World, their first new material in 16 years.
