For her Live Semi-Finals performance, Cree chose to perform Tommy James & the Shondells’ “I Think We’re Alone Now.”
“I’m vicariously very proud of you,” John Legend said. Bublé agreed, praising Cree for bringing joy to the show.
Viewers will have to wait until May 13 to see if Cree’s performance was enough to get her through to next week’s Finals.
After a one hour recap episode at 8/7c, host Carson Daly will reveal the contestants that made it to the last stage of the competition during the Live Semi-Final Results episode at 9/8c.
Jadyn Cree Praises Coach Michael Bublé
In a recent interview with Deepest Dream, Cree opened up about the amazing experience of having Bublé as her coach.
“It’s just been insane,” she gueshed. “He is just like a dad and so just seeing him so proud, it’s super sweet.”
“Just having somebody of that caliber of accomplishments… giving me the compliments, [it] is just insane in my brain,” she said. “I’m the worst at accepting compliments. I never know what to say and I’m always awkward about it. It’s the most awkward and worst experience for me, but also the coolest because it’s insane hearing those things.”
As for how she feels heading into the Lives, Cree said she’s “excited” for the next step in the competition.
“I’m excited for the lives,” she said. “I’m also sad for this experience to be coming to an end, but I’m definitely excited just to see where this all goes.”
