Jason Aldean has joined some elite country musicians, as he recently scored his 30th No. 1 hit on country radio with his single, “Whiskey Drink”. Released in 2023, Aldean’s single recently peaked at No. 1 on iHeart Radio’s Country Top 40 chart. Thanks to this achievement, Aldean joins decorated country artists such as George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and many more.
Upon its initial release, “Whiskey Drink” peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. This marked Aldean’s 40th top 10 hit on the chart. Thanks to the song’s astounding success, it will also likely receive an RIAA certification in the coming months.

Concerning his new accolade, Aldean stated, “30 #1s is a huge milestone, and I couldn’t let it go by without thanking the fans, country radio, the songwriters, BMG, and the best promo team in the business. I appreciate all the support we have gotten from everyone over the last 20 years.”
“And I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon, so I’m working hard on getting this next round of music out and can’t wait to share it soon,” concluded Aldean, per Music Row.
Behind Jason Aldean’s Impending New Album
While a lot of details surrounding Aldean’s impending album remain unclear, the singer has ambiguously alluded to some major details. Aldean told Taste of Country in May of 2025, “We’ve been in the studio a lot, man, probably like the last eight months or so, six to eight months. Pretty much done with the album; at least my part.”
He continued, “It’s been a cool project, a lot of songs, couple duets in there too, so it’s gonna be pretty cool.” “There are a couple of songs in the works that I know are going to be duets, then there’s one, maybe two that we still kind of haven’t found our partner for that yet,” added Aldean.
As of now, not much else is known about Aldean’s upcoming untitled album. In addition to his upcoming album and 30th No. 1 hit, Jason Aldean recently embarked on his Full-Throttle tour. Already, the tour has sold out shows in Toronto and Ohio.
