Jason Mraz has announced that he will release a deluxe edition of his 2008 album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. The deluxe project is due out on September 22, timed to the album’s 15th anniversary.

The newly remastered version of the record, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. We Deluxe Edition. will feature 14 bonus tracks pressed to vinyl for the first time. Among the new tracks are unheard demos, vault tracks, and other rarities.
Undoubtedly one of the standout tracks from the record is Mraz’s duet with Colbie Caillat, “Lucky.” To help bolster the new album news, Mraz has shared a new version of the song, “Lucky (Jason’s First Draft)” along with a visualizer. Check that out, below.

Elsewhere on the record is a demo version of “I’m Yours” and acoustic renditions of “Make it Mine,” “Butterfly,” “Only Human,” “If It Kills Me,” and more. Find the full tracklist, below.
While the deluxe album will, of course, be available for streaming, limited edition physical versions will also be available. Featured in the physical package are a booklet with rare photos, Mraz’s personal notes while writing the album, and liner notes by journalist Annie Zaleski.
The deluxe album comes on the heels of Mraz’s latest studio album, Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride. The album was a sort of sister album to We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. Mraz reunited with several collaborators that also worked on the 2008 project.
“A lot had changed for me,” Mraz recently told American Songwriter. “I’ve never written an album in my mid-40s before, continued to have relationship awareness and triumph over my past. Surviving the pandemic. Various little benchmarks of life nudged this song forward.”
“We have to choose the circumstances that we got, and by doing so, it does bring about a lot of healing,” he continued. “Looking forward, it’s still so full of hope and optimism and wishing and dreaming, and I love that I can accept all my failures.”
