Wilson was born and raised in Louisiana before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to chase the dream of being a musician. As a result, her upcoming tour starts and ends in both of her hometowns. Earlier today, she took to social media to announce the addition of two more hometown shows to the tour.

“I get to start and end the Country’s Cool Again Tour in my hometowns,” she wrote in the post. “Y’all have caused a stampede so we’re adding a 2nd show for both towns!” Wilson added that presale tickets went on sale to her fan club, Wild Horses, earlier today. Tickets for most of her upcoming dates go on sale to the public this Friday, October 27, and will be available on StubHub.

Wilson will now kick off her tour with two nights at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater starting May 31. Then, she’ll wrap things up with two nights at Monroe, Louisiana’s Monroe Civic Center starting November 15.

The Louisiana native plans to get in the studio to record new music starting next month. As a result, fans will most likely hear some fresh material when she hits the road in May.

Fans will have other chances to see Wilson on stage before her upcoming tour kicks off. For instance, she’ll host Opry NextStage Live on December 6 at the Grand Ole Opry House. Several of today’s biggest young country stars, including Wilson, have used NextStage Live as a springboard to bigger things.

NextStage alumni like Riley Green, Parker McCollum, BRELAND, Hailey Whitters, Tenille Townes, Priscilla Block, and Niko Moon, among others, have gone on to make major waves in the country music world.

Wilson was part of the NextStage lineup in 2021. Since then, her star has risen quickly. “Opry NextStage holds a special place in my heart because it’s all about giving talented, emerging artists the spotlight they deserve,” Wilson said in a statement. “I know how it feels to chase a dream in this town, and the Opry has always championed up-and-coming artists like me.,” she added. “I am honored to have been a member of the NextStage community, and I can’t wait to share the stage with these awesome artists.”

This year’s NextStage class includes Ashley Cooke, Chapel Hart, Corey Kent, Jackson Dead, Kameron Marlowe, and ERNEST.
