I need to find a country station / Where the DJ’s heart is breakin’ / Playin’ Jones and Merle and Waylon all damn day / I’m so sick of doin’ 90 / Need a road that’s so damn windy / Leads to somewhere no one finds this Chevrolet, he sings in a low drawl.

“‘Southern and Slow’ reflects on simple times,” Bryan shares in a statement. “Those picture-perfect moments like the sun setting behind a water tower, honey dripping off a spoon, well, it doesn’t get much country’er than that. Let’s slow it down southern style because this life seems to be moving faster than ever.”

Check out the track below.

The release of “Southern and Slow” follows Bryan’s current radio single, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand.” That track was also written by Dragstrem and McGill along with Geoff Warburton.

“I knew I wanted a fun up-tempo song everyone could enjoy this summer,” Bryan said in a statement announcing the single. “I can’t wait to start doing it live. It’s gonna be a blast.”

Along with the release of these two tracks, Bryan has been on a hot streak of announcing tour dates. The country superstar recently revealed the final dates of his Las Vegas run at the Resorts World Theatre. Find those dates HERE.

Bryan has also announced dates and support acts for his Farm Tour 2023 and Crash My Playa 2024. This year’s Farm Tour will feature Kameron Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, the Peach Pickers, and DJ Rock while next year’s Crash My Playa will feature Jelly Roll, Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, and Bailey Zimmerman.

Bryan is currently on a headlining tour with Beckham, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean, and DJ Rock. Find tickets to Country on Tour HERE.
