Olivia Rodrigo Is “So Grateful and Sooo Excited” to Headline the 2025 Glastonbury Festival

While spending over a decade in the music industry, Olivia Rodrigo didn’t release her debut album until 2021 with Sour. She wasted little time releasing her second album Guts in 2023. Landing several No. 1 hits with songs like “Good 4 U”, Rodrigo also walked away with three Grammy Awards. Continuing to expand her career and legacy, the singer recently announced her headlining the 2025 Glastonbury Festival.

At just 22 years old, Rodrigo found herself among a select few given the honor of headlining one of the most popular festivals in the UK. Welcoming music lovers from all over the world, the Glastonbury Festival sold out in less than 35 minutes when tickets went on sale. Thrilled about the opportunity, Rodrigo shared the full lineup of performers on her Instagram Stories. She also wrote, “Headlining glasto has been one of my biggest dreams for so long. Truly can’t believe this! So grateful and sooo excited. Hope to see you there.”

Olivia Rodrigo Still Struggles With Stress Of Performing

With her career kicking into another gear, Rodrigo revealed the stress that comes along with releasing new music and helming a tour. Welcoming fans to her Guts World Tour back in February 2024, the singer admitted she wished she practiced more as the nerves got to her. “I was like, ‘I should have rehearsed more … like, I needed three more weeks to rehearse this thing.’ But I was like, ‘Oh well, I’m gonna go on.’”

Thankfully, Rodrigo gained a mountain of support from her family and friends. “I remember coming offstage and my mom, my dad and all my friends were there to support me and just cheering. We popped champagne. And it was such a beautiful moment. I’ll remember it forever.”

While the 2025 Glastonbury Festival is scheduled to take place from June 25 through the 29th, Rodrigo will take the stage during the last day of the event. The day will feature more than Rodrigo as Noah Kahan, Rod Stewart, and several other are expected to perform.

Adding another milestone to her ongoing career, Rodrigo’s time in the spotlight appeared to only grow with each passing year.
