About two weeks before KISS bassist Gene Simmons’ solo band was slated to kick off a 2025 tour, most of the dates on the trek have been either postponed or canceled.

The tour had been scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 3, in Anaheim, California, but GeneSimmons.com now lists the first show of the trek as a May 2 concert in Peachtree City, Georgia.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, 17 of the Gene Simmons Band’s 26 concerts had scheduled for the spring of 2025 are no longer listed on the website’s tour page. The postponed or canceled dates include all 11 shows that had been scheduled in April, plus an additional six in May.
The remaining nine tour dates run through a May 15 concert in Niagara Falls, Canada. The Simmons Band also is still scheduled to perform on August 3 at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip festival in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Meanwhile, the Rock N Roll Experience website shared a Facebook post from Christina Vitagliano, who works for Simmons on his VIP fan experience packages. According to Vitagliano, the Simmons Band’s April concerts and their May shows in Texas “are being postponed until early 2026.”
She also reported that that Simmons was “ok … nothing wrong health-wise!”
Besides the updated tour page, Simmons hasn’t posted anything about the postponements or cancelations on his social media pages or official website.

Simmons Discussed the Solo Tour in a Recent YouTube Video
In a video announcement posted on his YouTube channel in February, Simmons shared some details about the upcoming shows he’ll be playing with his solo band.
“What can you expect?” Gene said in the clip. “Well, we’re gonna be doing our favorite KISS tunes, yours, but that ain’t all. … Are we gonna do songs that KISS has never done before live? Check! You betcha. Are we gonna [perform] some songs that have actually never been recorded by KISS? Yep. We’re also gonna be doing some cool covers that I’ve always wanted to do, and you never know what they’re gonna be.”
Simmons also shared that he may invite some fans in the audience to come up onstage to sing or play with the band.
“[W]e want you to join the fun. Yeah, you!” he declared. “Can you sing a little bit? You don’t have to be Pavarotti. Can you play a little guitar? Can you beat on the drums? You don’t have to be an expert. You never know, we may pull you up on stage with us.”
