Rosalía recently celebrated her 32nd birthday with the brand new song “Omega,” featuring Ralphie Choo.

Rosalía’s last album Motomami topped the Latin Pop chart and took home multiple Grammy Awards, including a Latin Grammy for Album of the Year. Since that album, she’s released high-profile collaborations with Björk and Rauw Alejandro, and performed at Coachella in 2023 as fans anticipated her fourth studio album.
“Omega” follows the Rosalía and Lisa single, “New Woman.”
To the One I Love
In a press release, the Spanish star explained her new single. “‘Omega’ is the end, it’s the celebration of having found what you wanted and the security with which one decides to stay,” she said.
She added the song means confidence in the one you love and “makes you not want to be anywhere else but there.”
(English Translation)
You and I lost among poppies
Your eyes shine, they are two guns
Our tongues embrace, they’re no longer alone
In my memory, you’ve shot me down
I no longer drink, I no longer smoke
I don’t consume and I presume it
You are the best
And before you, I was the worst
There’s no need for vices. So Rosalía quits drinking and smoking as her partner finds the best in her. Though the song begins with a brooding intro, an acoustic guitar soon drives the track with dreamy synths, flamenco claps, and vocoder vocals.
I’ve become sentimental
You are my omega
Before I make you finish
You are my omega
Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet and Rosalía uses the metaphor to describe how her partner completes her. The Stillz-directed music video features the two riding a roller coaster and echoes the kind of lo-fi music video one might have filmed at Six Flags in the ’80s.
Ralphie Choo
The track features Madrid-based singer and producer, Ralphie Choo. The pair hit it off in the studio, with Rosalía calling Choo “a whirlwind of energy” and a “happy spirit.”
She further explained their connection and shared musical tastes. “I remember that we sent each other so many songs before we got into the studio to work on ‘Omega’ because we’re both such music lovers and I realized right away that our musical taste is really similar,” Rosalía said.
Choo, who studied chemical engineering, released his debut album Supernova in 2023. On it, he patched together flamenco, reggaeton, R&B, and hip-hop in a sprawling and experimental pop collage.
“Céline Dion and a Hustler“
Also, Choo’s verse features the song’s best lyric. And if the closing line hasn’t been made into a t-shirt yet, someone is missing an opportunity. “Omega” hints at the classical power ballads of Dion, evoking a wistful movie scene.
And the further away you go
Everything about you reminds me of you
And the further you move away
Everything about you reminds me
I’m from everywhere, and my crew’s got my back
If I’m not who I want to be, God save me
I can be Céline Dion and a hustler
Together, Rosalía and Ralphie Choo use centuries-old folk traditions in a modern, uplifting love song.
