Since announcing one last performance with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, fans did everything in their power to get their hands on tickets. With the event quickly selling out, the Villa Park stadium in Aston, Birmingham will welcome countless fans who hope for nothing more than to be part of Osbourneโs last time on stage. Marking the end of a glorious career in the music industry, reports suggested that the iconic singer will only perform a few songs. And with the concert taking place on July 5th, singer Sammy Hagar shared some details surrounding how many songs Osbourne will perform.ย
Titled โBack to the Beginningโ, the concert brought back the iconic lineup of Black Sabbath. That included Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, and Tony Iommi. Outside of Black Sabbath, other bands like Anthrax, Billy Corgan, Guns Nโ Roses, Korn, Tool, Alice in Chains, Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, and Hagar are expected to perform.ย

Becoming one of the biggest events in recent memory, Hagar didnโt waste time getting to know the voice of Osbourne. He told Loudwire Nights, โEverybody asks, โWhat do you listen to?โ Him. Iโm listening to Ozzy until the 5th [July]. I got to learn his phrasing. His melodic structures are so unique, heโs such a unique singer. Iโm so honoured.โ

Sammy Hagar Pulling Out Some Classic Hits Of His Own
With Hagar picking some of his favorites like โNo More Tearsโ, he soon learned that song was going to Osbourne, who was only looking to perform about five classics. โI chose to do โNo More Tearsโ and Tom goes, โOh, that would be greatโ, and then he comes back and says, โGuess what? Ozzyโs going to try and sing five songs and he wants to sing โNo More Tearsโ.โ He continued, โI said, โOK, โFlying High Againโ [1981], and he goes, โYou got itโ. So right now, Iโm singing โFlying High Againโ. If Ozzy changes his mind, Iโll sing โFlying High Againโ and โNo More Tearsโ.โ
Not wanting Hagar to only focus on Osbourne, organizers also asked him to perform some of his classic hits. Pondering which song to go with, he insisted, โI thought I would sing [Montroseโs 1973 song] โRock Candy.’ Montrose and Sabbath were from the same kind of eraโฆ Iโm so excited.โ
