“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” his family said. “He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

Apart from that statement, Sharon has yet to speak out about the death of her husband of more than four decades. However, a source told People that the widow is “heartbroken” by the loss.

“Sharon’s heartbroken but very proud of the life the family built together,” a source close to the family told the outlet. “Everyone’s rallying around her. She’s been the rock of this family for decades, and now it’s her turn to be held up.”

Ozzy and Sharon married in 1982 and share three kids, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. The musician is also dad to Louis, Jessica, and Elliot from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.

In the wake of Ozzy’s death, the source told the outlet that Sharon’s kids are “making sure she’s never alone.”

“They’ve been with her constantly, sharing stories, laughing through the tears and just being together,” the source said. “There’s a lot of pain, but also a lot of comfort from the family time that they got to enjoy up until the very end.”

As for how Ozzy spent his final days, a source previously told People that he was “in England, surrounded by family, music and in the place he called home.”

“He was in peace,” the source added.

Just weeks before he died, Ozzy returned to the stage for one last show. He reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for the first time in two decades to perform at a farewell concert dubbed Back to the Beginning.

During the show, Ozzy told the crowd, “It’s so good to be on this f**king stage, you have no idea.”

“I’ve been laid up for six years, and you’ve got no idea how I feel,” he said. :Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
