On Thursday, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner released what caused Knight to pass away at 25. According to the medical examiner, she passed away due to hydrogen sulfide. The gas often smells like rotten eggs and large amounts of the colorless gas can be deadly. The department “determined the cause of death for 25-year-old Lucy-Bleu Knight as hydrogen sulfide toxicity.” The report added, “The manner of death is suicide.”
Slash Remember Stepdaughter With Special Post
Slash welcomed Knight into his life thanks to his girlfriend Meegan Hodges. Having dated for some time, the rockstar took a moment to honor his stepdaughter on social media. Posting a picture of Knight, Slash wrote, “My heart is permanently fractured. I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been. & still are. The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.”
Rallying around the rockstar, fans offered Slash their love and support. “I am so sorry for your loss man. Sending my most heartfelt and deepest condolences to the entire family. May her light shine upon all of you every day.” Another person added, “My heart truly breaks for all of you. No words could ever describe the pain and the heart will never mend properly like you said. But, she is an eternal angel. That is for sure.”
