Renzo Closes Out the Show With a Bang

Team Legend’s Renzo closed out the show with an epic performance of Aerosmith’s “Dream On.” After Renzo got the crowd and the coaches on their feet with his energetic performance, Legend praised the singer.

“Man, Renzo! I’m over here going crazy. You rehearsed that beautifully, but that was at least three times as good as rehearsal,” Legend said. “It was so incredible. You look like you’re supposed to be here on this stage… It was perfect.”

Conor James Wows With an Adele Cover

Conor James decided to come in with a big swing after Levine picked him as his Super Save. The singer opted to perform Adele’s “Chasing Pavements,” and his coach was thrilled with the choice.

“Great singers sing. The simplicity and the beauty of that is so nice… I love the fact that we kept it pure and simple here,” Levine said. “… You absolutely delivered, man. I am so proud.”

Kaiya Hamilton Proves She Deserves the Super Save

Kaiya Hamilton proved that Bublé used his Super Save on the right person when she delivered an epic performance of Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody.” 

“You already know you’re flawless,” Bublé said after Hamilton’s time on stage. “… I love you. Way to go.”

Adam David Takes on Sam Cooke

Team Bublé’s Adam David decided to sing Sam Cooke’s “Bring It on Home to Me.” Bublé was so on board with that choice that he called David his “secret weapon.” That sentiment only felt more true after David’s performance.

“I wish you were on my team,” Levine said, calling David’s time on stage “amazing.”

“That meant more to me than any performance has meant during the time I’ve spent here,” Bublé added. “… I’m so happy for you.”

Jaelen Johnston Performs Lee Brice Track

Ballerini decided to use her Super Save on Jaelen Johnston, and he didn’t let his second chance go to waste. He decided to sing Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck” in honor of his late cousin, and Ballerini was more than impressed by his performance.

“You made your cousin who is looking down from Heaven right now so proud,” Ballerini said. “… I’m so proud to be your coach.”

Bryson Battle Represents Team Legend

Legend was in full support of Bryson Battle taking on Mariah Carey’s “Without You” during his life performance.

“I think America’s going to love Bryson’s performance,” Legend predicted during rehearsals. “He’s truly what The Voice is all about. He’s undeniable.”

The audience was certainly impressed by Battle’s showing, and all four coaches were on their feet as he sang.

“That was stunning,” Legend said. “It was so beautiful.”

Lucia Flores Wiseman Takes on Soundgarden

Team Adam’s Lucia Flores Wiseman decided to sing Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” for her live performance. Levine was supportive of the choice, and only had words of praise after the singer’s performance.

“I think whatever you want to do with your voice, the opportunities are endless,” Ballerini said. 

Levine agreed, calling  Flores Wiseman “the real deal.”

Iris Herrera Takes on a No. 1 Hit

Team Kelsea’s Iris Herrera opted to take on a current hit: Lola Young’s “Messy.” After her epic performance, Ballerini couldn’t help but express her pride in her artist, stating, “I love you. I’m so proud of your commitment to your artistry.”

Olivia Kuper Harris Covers Ella Fitzgerald

“I can’t believe it,” Olivia Kuper Harris proclaimed when Legend told her that she was his Super Save. “This is amazing.” For her comeback performance, Harris opted to perform Ella Fitzgerald’s “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Legend was on his feet after Harris’ performance, and Levine praised, “You should feel amazing after that.”

“I feel like we just got to watch a master class in really finding your way in a song and interpreting it beautifully,” Legend added. “… I was so proud.”

Jadyn Cree Transports Viewers to the '60s

For her Semi-Finals performance, Jadyn Cree decide to represent Team Bublé with a performance of Tommy James & the Shondells’ “I Think We’re Alone Now.” “I’m vicariously very proud of you,” Legend said. Bublé agreed, praising Cree for bringing joy to the show.

Alanna Lynise Is Engaged and Pregnant

During the time off of shooting, Team Kelsea Ballerini’s Alanna Lynise revealed that got engaged and pregnant. As for her performance, Lynise decided to sing “I’m Not That Girl” from Wicked. “Alanna is our rising star,” Ballerini said during rehearsals. 

That only became more apparent during her live performance, as Lynise left the studio audience and viewers at home in awe. 

“That was really beautiful,” Michael Bublé said. “… What a great moment for you.”

Ballerini agreed, telling Lynise, “You’re never afraid to show your heart on that stage… I’m really so proud of you.”

Kolby Cordell Takes on Justin Timberlake

Team Adam Levine’s Kolby Cordell decided to take on Justin Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” for his Semi-Final performance. The Maroon 5 frontman called the song “a perfect choice” for Cordell during rehearsals. After Cordell’s performance, the other coaches agreed. 

All four coaches were on their feet after Cordell’s time on stage, with John Legend admitting he feels “a bit of regret” for letting the singer off of his team. 

“I almost don’t need to say anything, because what could I possibly say,” Levine noted. “… What just happened in this room doesn’t happen very often.”

The Super Save Artists Are Revealed

Each coach was given the chance to save one artist that was eliminated during the Playoffs. John Legend saved Olivia Kuper Harris, Michael Bublé welcomed Kaiya Hamilton back to his team, Kelsea Ballerini gave Jaelen Johnston a second chance, and Adam Levine chose Conor James as his save.
