When Do The Knockout Rounds Start On ‘The Voice?’
The Voice has just wrapped up another successful Battle Round. Now, the remaining artists will move on to third stage of the competition—the Knockouts.
The Voice announced Monday (Nov. 4) that American Idol legend Jennifer Hudson and former Police frontman Sting will join the show as Megamentors.
Hudson became the first female coach to win the show’s UK version in 2017. The Dreamgirls star also served as a coach during seasons 13 and 15 of the U.S. show. She will mentor Michael Bublé’s and Reba McEntire’s teams, while Sting will assist Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani.
The Knockout Rounds will pair each artist against two other teammates. This time, they will select their own songs to perform individually while their competitors watch from the sidelines.
While Sting and Hudson are there to help guide the artists, coaches have the final authority on who advances to the Playoffs. Each coach has one Save and one Steal in this round. Only 20 artists can advance to the Playoffs, which is the final round before the Live Shows.
The Voice will not air Tuesday (Nov. 5) due to the presidential election. Knockouts will start Monday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
