“I’m so excited about my last show in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena and the amazing lineup of artists,” Milsap says in a press statement. “I love Nashville and the amazing career my fans have given me. ‘I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!’ Please join me. It will be a very special night.”

The show takes place on October 3 at Bridgestone Arena. Since he debuted in the 1960s, the crossover singer has released more than 25 studio albums. He scored his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 1974 with “Pure Love,” which led to countless others throughout the ’70s and ’80s. His first crossover hit was “It Was Almost Like a Song,” which reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1977.

Milsap is expected to perform at the show, alongside many other acts. “I love it on stage with my band because I get to sing what I want to sing,” Milsap previously told American Songwriter about performing live. “I get to take feedback from the audience, and the audience will let you know what they want to hear.”
