First capturing the national spotlight in the late ’90s as a member of R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé found immense success on her own. Breaking numerous records, the native Texan, 43, came for the country music charts with last year’s Cowboy Carter, nabbing the Best Country Album trophy at this year’s GRAMMY Awards. Ever the professional, Queen Bey didn’t flinch when she experienced a wardrobe malfunction during a stop in London on the Cowboy Carter tour.

A video posted to TikTok captured the moment Thursday (June 5) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Sporting a silver fringe Western-inspired outfit, Beyoncé performed “I’m That Girl” off her 2022 album Renaissance. As the “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” singer lifts her foot to stomp in time with her dancers, her chaps slip off.
“The pants did their own choreography matched with the beat,” observed one TikTok user.
Seemingly unfazed, the 35-time Grammy winner simply knelt down and picked them back up. One of her dancers came over to help her adjust the chaps, and then it was back to business.
Beyoncé Fans Praise Her Flawless Rebound
Marveling at “Mother’s” recovery, one BeyHive member noted that she “didn’t miss a step or a note.”
“Honestly, this doesn’t even look like a mistake,” another TikTok user agreed. “I love her lol.”

Reportedly, this wasn’t the first wardrobe mishap of the Cowboy Carter tour. The pop diva’s daughter, Blue Ivy, got an earring tangled in her mom’s hair during a May 15 stop in Chicago.
"Blue Ivy is already showing signs of mom’s stage presence; plenty of professionals would have floundered when her earring got caught in Bey’s hair, but she fixed it and moved on with a veteran’s ease." —CONSEQUENCE. 💙

Following Beyoncé’s example, the 13-year-old bounced back effortlessly. In fact, she had seemingly removed the earring from her ear before her mother even noticed something was amiss.
One X/Twitter user called the moment “peak mother-daughter teamwork.”
“The show must go on, and they nailed it!” they wrote.
Blue and her younger sister, 7-year-old Remi, have already joined the “Crazy in Love” star onstage multiple times since she kicked off the Cowboy Carter tour last month.
