Although many people continue to decorate their homes for Halloween, Vince Gill and Amy Grant decided to skip the holiday and jump straight to Christmas. Given the cool weather, classical music, and holiday cheer, it makes sense as to why people can barely wait for Christmas. But for Gill and Grant, they aren’t putting up the Christmas tree just yet as they decided to treat fans to a special gift titled When I Think of Christmas. Collaborating on a new album, the singers are getting fans into the holiday spirit. And although there are a few months to go before Santa makes his rounds, Gill and Grant have produced more than a few memorable holiday moments throughout their careers.

While featuring classic songs like “Tennessee Christmas” and “O Holy Night”, the album will feature an Olive Green vinyl. Given the success Gill and Grant had over the years, their “Christmas at the Ryman” has become a hit show for the duo. Performing over 100 shows at the venue, the Ryman Auditorium will offer fans a limited edition Apple Red vinyl of their new album. Looking back at their time at the Ryman, Vince Gill and Amy Grant once performed “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” to a room of delighted fans—many of whom likely echo the caption of the clip below, which dubs the performance “the best rendition of this song.”

Amy Grant Explains Her Connection With The Christmas Season
Producing legendary performances like the one above seemed to be normal for Grant and Gill, who received a great deal of praise from fans. “I love Amy Grant. Amazing talent and seems like such a Nice person.” Another comment added, “I got to see their show in Tennessee. It was wonderful. Love them.”
As for the new album, Grant explained why she loved the Christmas season and performing during that magical time of the year. “We return to the same playlists year after year, those songs have become the backdrop for our collective memories of gathering, of family, of gift giving, of celebration and solitude.”
Giving his take, Gill didn’t seem to mind what time of year it was – he just wanted to hear Grant sing. “There’s nothing in the world that I love more than watching my girl shine, and she might shine the brightest when she does Christmas music. We have shared stages together for over 30 years and I’ve loved every note of it. I hope everyone enjoys this collection of songs, and hearing Amy shine.”
