It’s starting to seem as if Zach Bryan is a magnet for flying objects. That, or his fans tend to get a little too rowdy during concerts and like to throw things on stage. The “Something in the Orange” singer stopped his show in Boston earlier this week after a fan threw something onto the stage from the crowd. Then, two days later on Wednesday (November 27), he was playing in Portland when it happened again.

This time, the unruly fan threw a can of Zyn nicotine pouches onto the stage. It’s unclear if the can contained pouches when the concertgoer lobbed it nor is it clear if they were throwing it to or at Bryan. Those unknowns didn’t make any difference to the Oklahoma native. After the small plastic can hit him in the leg, he brought the show to a halt in the middle of “Tourniquet” to scold the audience in general and the thrower in particular.

Zach Bryan Scolds His Audience
“Alright, who threw it,” Zach Bryan asked while holding the Zyn can. In that moment he looked and sounded like an angry teacher who just took a paper airplane to the back of the head while writing a lesson on the blackboard. “Let’s not be d—ks, huh? Throw stuff at concerts?” he added, motioning with the can.
After giving everyone in the audience a stern look, he tossed the can off the stage and continued with the song.
Is Bryan Distancing Himself from His Fans?
Zach Bryan built his devoted and ever-growing following, in part, by connecting with his fans on social media. Not so long ago, one could go to his Twitter profile and find him having conversations with fans, sharing the stories behind his songs, and more. Now, after angering an army of Swifties with a tweet saying he enjoyed Kanye West’s music more than Taylor Swift’s, he has once again deactivated his account on the platform.
Bryan was less interactive on his Instagram account. However, he still talked to fans in the comment sections of his posts. That, too, is a thing of the past. His fans no longer have the option to comment on any of his posts. It’s normal for stars—or everyday people—to turn off comments on certain posts. However, it seems the “Heavy Eyes” singer has decided to shut down comments on his profile completely.
